Week 4 - Active revision strategies
Learn a whole bunch of simple but effective revision strategies
Another common mistake I see students making is using passive revision strategies instead of active revision strategies. Passive revision activities are the sort of tasks where you are not really taking anything in. For example, reading your notes, looking through a chapter of a textbook, watching a relevant video on YouTube. You are not doing any writing or testing yourself, and this is the reason why passive revision is not very effective.
Active revision strategies are far more effective because they test you on what you have learnt in a variety of different ways, helping you remember all the different things you need to know. In this session I will be sharing a whole bunch of active revision strategies that will help your teen to remember all the things they need to know!
